Hello to you at NSK!
It has been a lovely few weeks with guests visiting the last few weeks of service. It has been really nice weather, almost too good! : ) I was thinking today about the book of Ecclesiastes 1.9 "What was is the same as what is to come, what was done is the same as what will be there is nothing new under the sun." Life under the sun can actually be a temptation to feel that life will all be in vain! But fortunately there is also that truth in chapter 12 of the book: ..When you have heard it all, you must draw the conclusion: Fear God and keep his commandments, all people must! For God requires you to account for every action, all that is hidden, good or bad." When we fear God and keep His commandments, nothing is in vain! For me, that is an important reminder.
Concert now on Sunday from 18 to 20 in Bethesda
We were blessed last week with a visit from a musician from Faroe Islands (picture attached), but we will be lucky enough to visit again this Sunday! you are holding a concert with Matt Baird from Spoken. You can find him on Spotify, he's good! There will also be an open conversation with him afterwards where we talk about Christianity and art. It's a good opportunity to invite friends or family along, and I'm also attaching a flier about it. We look forward to seeing you there!
Mkh in Christ,
Christian
